Abstract
In dit artikel worden de uitkomsten besproken van een onderzoek naar hoe met de
privacy van slachtoffers van criminaliteit in de praktijk wordt omgegaan, welke beschermingsmaatregelen er zijn en hoe deze worden toegepast.1 De aandacht ligt in dit artikel op de zitting: wat zijn de ervaringen van slachtoffers met de zitting en hoe wordt er in het gerechtsgebouw met bescherming van hun privacy omgegaan? Wat zijn hun behoeften op dat punt? Wordt de regelgeving die is gericht op het beschermen van het slachtoffer goed nageleefd?
