Abstract

De aandacht voor sociale informatieverwerking (SIV) als cognitief proces dat onderliggend is aan externaliserende gedragsproblemen bij jeugd heeft in de afgelopen jaren een vlucht genomen, zowel in het wetenschappelijk onderzoek als in de praktijk van hulpverlening. Dit artikel geeft zowel de stand van zaken van het huidige onderzoek weer, als de plannen die er zijn om het onderzoek door te trekken naar de diagnostiek en behandeling in de praktijk van hulpverlening aan jeugd met een LVB.
