Abstract

© 2017 IEEE.Nowadays technology plays a major role which covers not only health-care but also in keeping track, recording and communicating reports. Regular monitoring of health condition is mandatory to stay healthy. With the advancement of technology in daily life remote health monitoring systems is emerging with it. In this paper, a real-time heart monitoring system is developed considering the ease of application, accuracy, and data security. The system is developed as a data channel between doctors and patients. The main purpose of this study is to facilitate with cardiovascular disease and provide monitoring without any clinical settings. The developed system is based on Pulse rate sensor to measure heart pulse and Android device to support the whole system along with a web portal. The performance analysis shows that the proposed system is reliable and helpful as it provides real-time monitoring. The analyses showed that the proposed system is convenient and ensures data security. In addition, the developed system can establish communication via messages between the doctor and patient.
