EFEITOS DE TÉCNICAS FISIOTERAPÊUTICAS NA DOR LOMBAR GESTACIONAL: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

Abstract

In pregnant women, low back pain may present as lumbar pain and pelvic pain, alone or together. Physiotherapy has an important role in the treatment of low back pain, since its approach involves aspects of prevention and treatment of low back pain. The objective of this review was to evaluate the physiotherapeutic techniques in gestational low back pain. A search was made, through clinical trials and case studies, in the Bireme database. Five articleswere selected that covered different physiotherapeutic techniques. Based on the studies analyzed, it was concluded that the use of kinesio taping, active stretching method, manual osteopathic treatment, global posture re-education and acupuncture showed astatistically significant improvement in the pain of pregnant women, reflecting the functionality and quality of life of pregnant women .
