    Abstract

The effect of the state of coherence on the three-dimensional spectral intensity distribution near focus was investigated. The maximum spectral intensity was found to decrease with decreasing spectral coherence length. The size of the focal spot was also found to increase with a decrease in the spectral coherence length.
