N2 - We derive expressions for the far-zone properties of electromagnetic beams generated by a broad class of partially coherent sources, namely those of the quasi-homogeneous type. We use these reciprocity relations to study the intensity distribution, the state of coherence and the polarization properties of such beams. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.
