Abstract
A short overview of the bible texts about God being angry, and an attempt to explain, theologically, why God can't remain calm and unaffected when people are hurting each other or damaging his creation. Included is a confrontation with the texts where God seems to overreact and his retribution is out of proportion – the 'uncomfortable' texts.
