Abstract
This article investigates the first two chapters of the Book of Zechariah in the revised Dutch New Bible Translation 2021, compared to the New Bible Translation of 2004. It turn out that the new version contains a number of improvements: more consistency, less explanation in the translation. However, not all criticism has been countered, there are still references to other Bible Texts that are not made visible in the translation. Still, the evaluation is in general a positive one.
