Abstract

In this issue of Neuron, Orr et al.¹ demonstrate a detailed molecular cascade that drives presynaptic homeostatic plasticity and enhances presynaptic vesicle fusion in response to reduced postsynaptic activity. Two large presynaptic signaling complexes are central hubs.
