Abstract
This paper critically reviews Glenn Friesen's '95 theses on Herman Dooyeweerd' (his journal). I acknowledge Friesen’s theses as an intriguing contribution to the ongoing
debate on Dooyeweerd’s systematic philosophy. Friesen’s panentheist interpretation
of Dooyeweerd has to be rejected, but Friesen’s work has the merit of
making us aware of certain aspects of Dooyeweerd’s thought that might give
rise to such interpretation. The degree of detail with which this interpretation
is supported adds to the value of his contribution.
