Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers the potential to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and performance. Yet, many organizations fall short of realizing these benefits. Based on a systematic literature review (SLR), this study shows how misaligned interests among key stakeholders – managers, employees, developers, regulators, and end users – create tensions that hinder AI adoption. We identify the sources of these tensions and suggest actionable strategies to address them. Adopting a stakeholder-centric lens, this work offers practical insights for improving alignment and enabling more effective AI deployment.
