On the unitary pole expansion of the potentials I and III of Malfliet and Tjon

Abstract

The unitary pole expansion for the local soft-core potentials I and III of Malfliet and Tjon is obtained, and the Faddeev-Lovelace equations are solved for the separable potentials. The energy E_T of the triton and the doublet scattering length²a have been obtained. The results are -8.59 MeV ≦E_T≦ -8.57 MeV and 0.89 fm≦²a≦0.91 fm. For the quartet scattering length a value₄a = 6.39 fm has been found.
