Abstract
In the Dutch context a theologian with a professional degree (BaTh) is primarily employed as 'church worker', i.e. pastoral worker, evangelist, youth worker, etc. In this handbook, edited by Hoek and Paas, many professionals from the field offer guidelines as to the practice of church workers in the Netherlands.
