    Abstract

    The guideline Influenza prevention in nursing homes rests on three pillars: grade of vaccination, vigilance and plan of outbreak. Thus nursing homes have the means to develop an effective influenza policy. The Public Health Service offers advice regarding the vaccination of personnel, the development or revision of the outbreak policy and the measures regarding an outbreak. Furthermore the Public Health Service offers logistic assistance with a view to the diagnosis.
