Het voorstel lijkt ten onrechte rendabel door de baten van woningbouw bij de baten van OV op te tellen, en door diverse optimistische veronderstellingen. De indieners hebben geen volledige kosten-batenanalyse beschikbaar gesteld. Het BBP effect is aanzienlijk kleiner dan de investering.
