The global ensemble forecasts were obtained from the ECMWF TIGGE archive online (http://tigge-portal.ecmwf.int). The daily gridded rainfall data is provided by the Indian Meteorological Department data portal http://www.imdpune.gov.in/Clim_Pred_LRF_New/Grided_Data_Download.html and the TRMM datasets were obtained from their website at https://trmm.gsfc.nasa.gov/.
