Abstract

In Chap. 19, Sharda Nandram and Jan Vos write about the spiritual foundations of Servant-Leadership. According to them, Servant-Leadership can be approached as a means to create a meaningful workplace for all of the stakeholders involved in an organization. It involves authenticity, listening to, and empowering employees. They explore the Servant-Leadership model as an alternative perspective for the development of a new leadership paradigm to give employees a higher level of meaning and to contribute to the transformation of the workplace.
