Abstract
The narcissism of coloniality sustained through racism, gender oppression and the
ma/ster/salve dialectic are intrapsychically interwoven into the fabric of society glocally. It is
through the coloniality of gender that we see a pushback from decolonial feminists: student
protestors on campuses the world over, to service delivery protests in post-apartheid South
Africa and farmer protests in post-colonial India are but a few examples. These are the ways
in which individuals acting through collectives bring the decolonisation programme alive. It is
these actions, in particular, that should be considered in curriculum development and, how
conversations are taken forward in furthering justice and healing whilst resisting the narcissism
of coloniality.
