Abstract

This chapter explores different ways to watch and discuss documentary films in critical fashion. In order to do that, the chapter moves beyond an analysis of the content of the film, focusing instead on the specific medium of documentary film. It examines how different cinematic techniques affect the way in which international criminal law is portrayed in relation to its social and political environment.
