Abstract

This chapter reflects on the nature of the clarity of Scripture and considers which claims concerning prehistory clash with the biblical testimony The claritas or perspicuitas of the Bible applies to the history of salvation and the historical context in which it occurs. It shows what the role of the natural sciences and the historical sciences might be in the interpretation of the Bible? The right exegesis is part of theological science, but that science is not separate from the other sciences.
