De laatste twee decennia is de arbeidsdeelname van opeenvolgende cohorten werknemers die een WAO/WIA-aanvraag hebben gedaan met meer dan dertig procentpunten gedaald. Is die daling zorgwekkend? Of is de lagere arbeidsdeelname te verklaren door een veranderde samenstelling van de aanvragers?
